Monday night, May 14th, I will be playing at Silvie's Lounge in Chicago. I'll be playing at 9:00 pm (9:10 to be more precise), and it would be great if you could come by! I'll be playing some new music (written this week!) and some Simeon Peebler classics...from last year.
Here's the Facebook event link for more information about the show on Monday:
Interested in hearing new music right now? I recently wrote a song about the Titanic. April marked the 100th anniversary of the sinking of that great ship, so I wanted to write about that and from it came "Twenty Lifeboats". I recently attended the Folk Alliance Midwest Region (http://www.farmfolk.org) "FARMette" one-day event in Fayette, Ohio, and I played "Twenty Lifeboats" there and had some nice comments ( I hope to attend more Folk Alliance events in the future! ).
You can stream "Twenty Lifeboats" here:
Other notes...I'm busy writing and performing as much as I can, and really appreciate your interest in my music and my musical adventures. I'm working on my second album right now, but I could use your help! How can you lend a hand? Well, here are some ways you can help...follow me through these connections and "Like" when you can. These online connections help increase my exposure to the world, and that will be crucial for the next big music release coming down the road. I plan on having a bigger sound -- more instruments, more musicians, more cowbell. You can look for that second album project to be wrapped up before the end of the calendar year! I will be dropping a few demos along the way and working on a polished and well produced video too.
All my best,
Simeon "Simon" Peebler
