February Album Writing Month and Late Winter Shows

Despite my best attempts at turning back time, 2018 proceeds with abandon. I have shows coming up that are going to be highlights of this calendar year.

Just wrapped up writing fourteen new songs in February as part of February Album Writing Month, which is a self-appointed collective of artists around the world who try to write 14 or more songs in February. This year nearly 12,000 songs were written!

In two weeks, on 3/21, I'll be returning to Uncommon Ground (Clark Street location) to be a part of a show called Songs We Don't Play in Public. The artist who organized this songwriter in the round event is somebody who impressed me so much when I shared a show with him at Cubbybear last year, and I want all of my friends and fans to get to know him as well: Zion Rodman. Great lyricist, singer, and guitar player. Add him to your must-hear list. More details about the bill can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/409331772826646/ You must call and reserve a table in the music room for that night to be sure to have a seat in the room.

Just after that, I'll be doing a late appearance during the Acoustic Explosion at Silvie's Lounge on Monday, 3/26. https://www.facebook.com/events/1603178563122440/

On Saturday 4/7 I'll be the opening act at the Elevated Songwriter Series, hosted and founded by Emily White and Sue Fink. I'll be opening for the Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers (http://www.sapsuckersmusic.com). https://www.facebook.com/elevatedsongwriterseries/

Thanks for your support and help along the way. See you soon!
